I love this sketch. When I say that I'm not shrugging off my humility (which makes me sooo very sexy). I enjoyed the process of doing this piece - and it's a very important part of our story. Not only does it bookend chapter one of the Malignant Strain mythology, but it also reflects a small piece of my novel.

Death, corruption, rebirth and the mental dissection of a character who is pure of heart and soul, yet poisoned by the evils of man - these are all themes I'll get into. Sure, on the surface it will just look like a self indulgent sci-fi bloodfest, but it's way deep, maaaan.
